Miura Lab

Laboratory of Ecological Developmental Biology (Eco-Devo)

We are studying physiological and developmental mechanisms of phenotypic changes in animal life cycles, in response to environmental shifts, to understand the evolutionary processes of phenotypic evolution. Focusing on diverse animal taxa, we are trying to establish rearing systems to look at developmental processes producing/differentiating phenotypes. See Researches for details.

Graduate/Undergraduate Students

Young students who are intessted in evolution, adaptation and diversity of animals, and also, students who like to take care of animals are welcomed. Please visit our lab and look around. Anyway, email me beforehand. Let's try to expand our understanding on animal evolution!
